Coach Chad spent the early part of his life feeling extremely self-conscious about his body.

First, he was very skinny, having a "hole" where his chest was supposed to be. Then one day in his twenties, he looked down and saw this “thing” hanging over his waistband.

He stepped on the scale and realized that the “thing” was 40 lbs. of gut that was not there before. He was “skinny-fat”--a fat belly with toothpick arms and legs.

He had never felt good about his body, but now… he was absolutely disgusted with himself. He had reached his breaking point. He had to do something.

He tried the usual “punish yourself for your sins of being weak and lazy” approach to fitness.And got the usual results--NOTHING.

The approach worked in the short term, but his mind eventually revolted against it, so he would give up, fall back into the same patterns, and end up in the same place: fat, frustrated and unhappy.

He wanted to get in shape, feel healthy and vibrant, feel confident, and feel good about himself, but the standard approach to fitness just wasn’t working for him. It wasn’t getting him there.

He knew there had to be a better way.

Through much studying of fitness, nutrition, and psychology, and LOTS of trial and error, he developed the powerful 3 Key System to fitness results.

He used the 3 Key System to finally get to the place where--for the first time in his life--he felt good about his body and felt good about himself. It was such a powerful feeling it inspired him to become a personal trainer, nutrition coach, and behavior change specialist to guide other people through the same powerful transformation process.

He founded Cause and Effects Fitness in 2012, and since then has been guiding people to powerful, lasting results using the 3 Key System and has helped hundreds of Lancaster area residents lose weight, tone up, gain confidence, and have more energy.
